Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson is set to announce having more than $11 million cash on hand.

Carson, who has made $20 million the last three months according to his campaign, will be on par with Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, The Washington Times reported Wednesday.

Doug Watts, a Carson spokesperson, said the third quarter fundraising report was being finalized yet but Carson would announce he has the money in the bank.

Rubio has announced having as much cash on hand after raising $6 million in  the third quarter.

Among other Republicans, Carly Fiorina has $5.5 in the bank, according to an announcement by her campaign earlier this week.

Recently, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul’s team said $2 million had been raised.

The Republican candidates face real estate mogul Donald Trump, a billionaire spending loads of money on his campaign.

According to American business magazine Forbes, the 69-year-old has a net worth of $4.5 billion.

Recent poll, however, show that the front runner may be overtaken by the retired neurosurgeon, Carson.

According to a recent Fox News poll, support for Carson in the race for the Republican nomination has nearly doubled in the last two months.

“Trump remains in the top spot with 24 percent, closely followed by Carson at 23 percent,” said the news channel in a report on its website Tuesday.
