More hunger striking Palestinian prisoners transferred to hospital

Almost 40 days have passed since the start of a mass hunger strike by Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails. The Palestinian commission of prisoners and ex-prisoners’ affairs is warning that the hunger strikers risk losing their lives behind bars. The commission also says dozens of Palestinian inmates have been transferred to hospitals due to their deteriorating health condition.
