In response to North Korea’s recent testing of an Intercontinental ballistic missile, the United States has once again threatened the Pyongyang government with total destruction in the event of a war. The US and South Korea plan to carry out large-scale air force drills in early December amid calls from peace activists for new strategies to ease tensions on the Korean Peninsula.
