Russian forces have been jamming GPS systems in the Middle East, US international affairs magazine the National Interest claims.

Pilots flying through the Middle East, specifically around Syria, have noted since last spring that their GPS systems were displaying the wrong location or had stopped working entirely, it said. Moscow has denied the report as “fake news”.
