Spain's Gerard Moreno celebrates with teammates scoring their third goal against Romania.

Over football news, Spain have wrapped up their Euro 2020 qualification campaign with a 5-nil thrashing of Romania in Group F.

It took the Spaniards just 8 minutes of play to open the scoring, as Fabian Ruiz pounced on a spilled ball to tap in the opener. La Rokha's 2nd came as Santi Cazorla lofted a pinpoint cross for Gerard Moreno, who flicked a sublime header into the bottom right corner.

Moreno sent the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium into a frenzy with his 2nd goal 2 minutes before the break. The Spaniards made it 4-nil on the stroke of half-time when Moreno’s attempted cross was deflected into the net by Romania defender Adrian Rus.

Mikel Oyarzabal completed the rout in stoppage time with a superb low strike from outside the area. Spain ended the campaign as group F winners with 26 points from 10 games.
