Thousands marched through the streets of Caracas on Sunday to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the current Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, promulgated on December 15, 1999.

Footage shows President Nicolas Maduro leading celebrations in the Legislative Palace, alongside thousands of supporters marching through the streets with Venezuelan flags and a large reproduction of the Bolivarian Constitution.

"Celebrating, we are celebrating our constituent, because since the arrival of our eternal commander, the people of today smile, in peace, in joy, in harmony," said one of the marchers.
