World number six Stefanos Tsitsipas has been knocked out of the Rotterdam Open, after being stunned in straight sets by unseeded Aljaz Bedene of Slovenia.

Following a shaky win over Huberr Hurkatch in the previous round, Tsitsipas did not appear to be in a convincing form, as he slipped five breakpoints, and lost a serve, to hand over the opening set 7-5.

Bedene, who is ranked 52, performed a great job on his serves, keeping his composure in the second set, and then closing out the match at 6-4, with a brilliant forehand down the line.

The Slovenian will face Felix Auger Aliassime of Canada in the quarterfinals.
