The WTA has announced the suspension of all its tournaments until at least the second of May as a result of the global virus outbreak.
The women’s tennis body said in a statement that the tournaments in Stuttgart, Istanbul and Prague will not be held as scheduled.
The WTA added that it will make a decision this week about the season's remaining European clay court tournaments in Madrid, Rome and Strasbourg.
The women's tour was initially suspended until the 20th of April when the Indian Wells tournament was called off. The announcement came a few days after the ATP cancelled its tour until at least the 27th of April.
