Palestinians have unanimously slammed a deal reached between the Israeli regime and the United Arab Emirates aimed at full normalization of their ties under the auspices of US President Donald Trump.

The Palestinian Authority, based in the occupied West Bank voiced its strong rejection and condemnation of the deal. Meanwhile in the Gaza Strip, Hamas movement described the deal as a stab in the back of the Palestinian people.

Following the Friday prayer Palestinians in Gaza attended a rally titled "No for betraying Palestine” against the UAE’s normalization with Tel-Aviv. People here called on Arab countries to support the Palestinian cause instead of helping the Israeli regime, which continues to violate their basic rights on a daily basis.

The Islamic Jihad Movement who organized the Friday rally condemned the deal noting that it marks a moral and strategic downfall in the UAE’s policies. Palestinians in Gaza called for the isolation of the Israeli regime and gave their full support for the resistance.

Experts say normalization of ties between Arab countries and Israel aims to undermine the Palestinian people’s struggle for freedom and justice.
