Rail transportation is of great significance to Iran as the country links the east-west and north-south corridors. A four-day exhibition is inaugurated in the capital Tehran and the experts and companies have displayed their latest products.

Promotion of domestic production, export development, and localization of railway industries as well as familiarization of railway manufacturers with the latest advances in the world are announced as the goals behind this event.

Reportedly one percent of Iran’s oil and gas sales is dedicated to rail sector development and the country is seeking to add on 10,000 kilometers of rail lines by 2025.

Apart from this event at Tehran’s permanent fairground, another exhibition is also underway to give the opportunity to visit the latest advancements of the Islamic Republic in the aviation industry.

As the airport and aviation industry is one of the most advanced industries in the world, young and innovative experts whose products meet the international standards have taken part in this exhibition.
