The war on Yemen is in its seventh year, and even though the Saudi-led alliance, which the UAE is part of, has been on the losing side of the war, it believes there may be a chance that it can shift the tide in its favor.

What other explanation can there be when an Emirati-flagged cargo vessel packed to the hilt with military equipment was confiscated by the Yemeni army. This vessel could instead be used to carry humanitarian aid to the poor people of Yemen.
