US: Russia will use chemical weapons in Ukraine. Or maybe not

US President Joe Biden has claimed that his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin may use chemical weapons in the Ukraine conflict to avoid failure.

This is the American leader’s strongest warning yet that Russia is preparing to justify the use of unconventional weapons. And now the White House has taken back that claim and says there will not be a chemical attack.

Why the US would take back that claim is unknown. But at a minimum, there is a strong disinformation campaign against Russia.
