World's rising investment in nuclear weapons
According to a report by the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, nine nuclear powers increased investment in their arsenals for a third consecutive year in 2022.
Another report from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) says some countries like the US and the UK have even reduced transparency in their nuclear programs.
