South Korea, the United States, and Japan on Sunday signed a military cooperation agreement in Japan's capital city of Tokyo. While increased security coordination among the three countries may be viewed as beneficial in Japan and the US, many South Koreans oppose any military cooperation with Tokyo, having suffered under Japan's colonial dominion in early 20th century.
