A ceremony honoring Iranian war veterans and those who were active on and off the battlefront during eight years of the Iraqi-imposed war in the 1980s was held in Tehran on Wednesday in the presence of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
