Syria-Iran alliance strengthens as Larijani arrives in Damascus for key talks

Ali Larijani, a senior advisor to Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, visited Damascus on Thursday at the head of a high-level delegation. His meeting with Syria’s President Bashar Al-Assad comes as Syria reiterated its firm commitment to the regional resistance at the recent Islamic summit in Riyadh. This is while Israeli aggression in the region has been on the rise with the unconditional US support.
