Martyr Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani stands as one of the most influential military figures in Iranian history. From 1998 until his assassination by the United States in 2020, he was the commander of the Quds Force, a special unit within the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), which primarily focuses on extraterritorial operations.

The legendary general was instrumental in coordinating military support for various resistance groups in the region in the face of Israeli occupation, American hegemony and terrorist threats.

Under his leadership, the Quds Force became known for its strategic acumen and ability, often acting as a counterbalance to US and allied interventions in the West Asia region. General Soleimani's expertise in unconventional warfare and intelligence operations made him a formidable opponent, earning him both respect and fear among his adversaries.
