Hundreds took to the streets of Milan on Saturday to demand an end to Israel's war on the Gaza Strip and denounce the genocide against the Palestinian people.

Footage shows protesters marching with Palestinian flags and signs reading 'Save Gaza' and 'Enough with giving money to companies who fund/support genocide'.

Some protesters were also seen displaying their support for Kamal Adwan Hospital Director Hussam Abu Safiya, who was detained by Israeli forces last month during an operation in Jabalia. Demonstrators raised pictures of the doctor alongside signs reading 'Free Dr Hussam Abu Safiya' and 'Hospitals are not targets'.
