US-Israeli failure in Gaza
Today we celebrate the victory of the Palestinian people. A people that have been the target of nearly eight decades of ethnic cleansing and genocide by Europeans and Americans, fighting under a Zionist flag called Israel.
A very lopsided and highly disproportionate fight. The latest chapter of the Palestinian struggle, we watched Gazans equipped with small arms, withstand a vicious onslaught for 15 months, unleashed upon them by the US and Israel, armed to the teeth with the most lethal and destructive arms history has seen.
Yet somehow, once again, the Occupation has failed to crush the will of the Palestinian people. And the leadership in Tel Aviv and Washington DC have now accepted a ceasefire, the same ceasefire, in fact, that they rejected months back.
