Israeli killing of Palestinians
More Palestinian civilians are killed in Gaza as air and artillery strikes continue to pound the blockaded territory despite the announcement of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas. In one of the latest attacks, at least three people are killed and several others injured after Israeli forces open fire on a group of Palestinians near Khan Yunis, southern Gaza. Also in Khan Yunis, a separate strike killed five Palestinians after Israeli warplanes bombed a residential building in al-Mawasi refugee camp. An Israeli airstrike targeting a Palestinian home in central Gaza, also left fatalities. Israeli jets also struck home of a Palestinian journalist northeast of Gaza city, killing several people. Over 120 Palestinians have been killed across Gaza Strip since the announcement of a truce deal between Israel and Hamas. The Israeli aggression which began in October 2023, has so far claimed the lives of nearly 47,000 Palestinians.
Yemen supports Palestine
The Yemeni army says it has carried out a fresh military operation against Israel targeting the regime’s ministry of military affairs in the occupied Yaffa area, near Tel Aviv, with a ballistic missile. The operation was conducted in support of Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip and in response to the regime’s aggression against the Arab country.
London pro-Palestine rally
Pro-Palestine protesters shout “Shame on you,” when the police begin arresting demonstrators in London. Thousands of protesters gathered in London’s Whitehall near the Prime Minister’s office on Saturday. Demonstrators marched to slam the Israeli regime’s continued, rampant strikes across the besieged Gaza Strip despite the announcement of the ceasefire agreement. They also called for an arms embargo on the Israeli regime. Pro-Palestine protests have been ongoing worldwide ever since the regime’s genocidal war on Gaza began in 2023 and in spite of various forms of suppression, including police brutality.
