Israeli forces have killed a Palestinian teenager and injured two other people in the occupied West Bank, amid intensified raids on Ramallah.

The 18-year-old Adam Sub Laban was killed near Qalandia military checkpoint, the main checkpoint between Ramallah and East al-Quds, on Sunday night.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, the Israeli forces also opened fire on two other Palestinians near the checkpoint, leaving them injured.

That came as the troops raided several areas in Ramallah Province on Sunday.

During the raid on al-Mughayyir village, east of Ramallah, Israeli forces detained a young man after ransacking his home.

In the northern part of the province, the regime’s forces stormed the villages of Ein Siniya and Jifna, as well as the town of Birzeit. They also raided the village of Ni'lin, west of Ramallah.

In the West Bank city of al-Khalil, Israeli forces also detained two people after raiding their homes on Sunday.

Also on Sunday, five Palestinians were detained in Marda Village in Salfit Province.

The detentions were made when Israeli forces stormed the village and raided a number of homes, according to local sources.

Israeli forces have also closed the two main entrances to the village, and banned residents from leaving or entering it with their vehicles.

In Bethlehem, Israeli forces on Sunday raided the town of al-Khader, where they stationed their troops in the areas of al-Bawaba and the Grand Mosque.

The troops also used tear gas and sound grenades against the residents.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces stormed the village of al-Lubban al-Sharqiya and the town of Qabalan, south of Nablus, firing sound bombs and tear gas at the residents, which caused many people to suffer from breathing difficulties.

Many cases of breathing difficulties were also reported when Israeli forces on Sunday stormed the town of al-Ram, north of Occupied al-Quds, using sound bombs and tear gas against the locals.

The Israeli forces continued to destroy homes and set fire to others in the Jenin refugee camp.

More military reinforcements, backed with bulldozers, were also deployed to the city of Jenin on Sunday.

Earlier in the day, Kamal Abu al-Rub, governor of Jenin, said at least 20 homes have been destroyed in the camp as Israeli forces plan to divide it into four parts.

He expressed his concern over the possibility of the presence of casualties trapped under rubble, as ambulances were prevented from reaching them.

Since a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas took effect in Gaza last week, the occupying regime has launched a deadly rain on Jenin and its camp.

The Health Ministry reported on Sunday that the 26-year-old Abdul Jawad Yasser al-Ghoul, who was injured by Israeli forces last Tuesday, succumbed to his injuries.

His death has brought to 16 the number of those killed in the raid on Jenin and its camp since Tuesday.
