Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said the regime will not allow Syria’s new army to enter the area south of Damascus.

That has sparked anger in Syria where people have held rallies in different cities, rejecting what they see as violation of their country’s sovereignty.

In Damascus, people have gathered outside the UN office, demanding action to stop Israeli violations.
