As scores of countries across the globe are preparing to mark International Quds Day, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has urged mass participation in the rallies.

According to the Leader, Quds Day rallies show the Iranian nation is steadfast in its support for Palestinians.

Imam Khomeini declared the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as Quds Day in 1979. This episode of the Spotlight looks at the significance of International Quds Day.
