A group of rioters have confessed to their role in the horrific killing of a member of Iran's Basij volunteer force during recent foreign-sponsored unrest in the northern Iranian province of Gilan, recounting the circumstances surrounding his murder.

Foreign players who meddle in Iranian internal affairs have been training rioters to target people and centers belonging to the Basij and the revolution.

Mashhad’s Governor Mohsen Davari said Doust-Mohammadi was martyred on Wednesday in a stabbing attack.

In Tehran, hundreds of Iranians have gathered to mark the national Basij Week.

The Basij is a people’s force.

Ayatollah Khamenei praises the role of Iran’s Basij volunteer force in both defending the country and facilitating its growth, calling it a “great asset.”
