Experts from Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have wrapped up a two-day session.
Iran's Ambassador to the IAEA Reza Najafi told reporters on Wednesday that the Iranian team “discussed” the questions posed by the nuclear watchdog on September 8.
Vario Ranta, a deputy of IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano, headed the body’s delegation during the talks in Tehran.
Expert meetings will continue in Tehran during the first week of the Iranian calendar month of Mehr (late September).
On July 14, Iran and the IAEA signed a road map in the Austrian capital Vienna for “the clarification of past and present issues” regarding Iran’s nuclear program.
“Based on the road map, all agreed activities, including expert sessions and discussions, will continue until October 15,” Najafi stated.
After a meeting with Amano on Monday, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi said the IAEA chief “will visit in the next three or four days.”
