An analyst believes Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is right that the United States is addicted to sanctions and is putting diplomacy aside in dealing with the Islamic Republic.

"There is nothing new in [the US sanction policy]. It is just an example of a grumpy country that no longer uses diplomacy but it uses all kinds of pressures, penalties, punishments [and] arrogance to achieve its goals," Jan Oberg, founder of transnational.org, told Press TV on Sunday.
