Halle Open: Struff stuns Medvedev
Daniil Medvedev has been knocked out of the Halle Open in straight sets, at the hands of home favorite Jan-Lennard Struff.
The world no.2 took a 5-2 lead in the opener, before the German made a surprise comeback to close out the set in a tie-break.
Struff dominated the second set, to dismantle Medvedev 6-3, and wrap up the contest after 94 minutes of play.
Struff will meet Marcos Giron of the USA in the Next round.
