World number one Novak Djokovic has reached his 10th Wimbledon semi-final with a straight-sets victory over Marton Fucsovics.
The defending champion set the tone in the opener by reeling off five straight games, before clinching it 6-3.
Fucsovics then held his serve until late in the second, but another slip in the 9th game was enough for Djokovic to close out the set at 6-4.
The Serbian ace, who is chasing a third consecutive grand slam of 2021, broke the Hungarian’s first serve in the third and never looked back to seal the deal with another 6-4 win.
He will next face Denis Shapovalov in the last 4.
Meanwhile, Roger Federer's dream of capturing a 9th Wimbledon title has been dashed, as he was knocked out of the tournament at the hands of Hubert Hurkacz.
The Swiss Maestro, who was trailing the pole by a set down, tried to pull off a comeback in the second set, which went down to a tie-break, but Hurkacz managed to come out on top with a 7-4 win.
And things went from bad to worse when Federer was bagelled in the third, as Hurkacz completed a quite stunning performance in a clinical fashion. He will next meet Matteo Berrettini.
Following his disappointing elimination, 39-year-old Roger Federer says he is not yet sure if his Wimbledon career was over and that the 20-time Grand Slam champion would take a few days off before deciding the next step.
