Syria fighting terrorism

The Syrian Army has carried out more operations against foreign-backed terrorist groups in the northwestern part of the country, inflicting heavy losses on them. According to a military source, joint Syrian-Russian airstrikes as well as artillery, and missile forces targeted terrorist strongholds and movement routes in the Hama countryside. The strikes killed at least 300 terrorists, including foreign fighters, and destroyed their military equipment, including over 25 drones. The source also strongly denied reports about terrorists entering the city of Hama from multiple directions. It said the situation in the city is normal and Syrian forces are fully prepared to repel and confront any possible attack. Syrian forces have also liberated several villages around Hama, and battles are ongoing for villages north of the city. They also intensified their strikes in southern part of Idlib province, inflicting heavy casualties on terrorists.

US-Israeli Gaza genocide

The Israeli regime presses ahead with its genocidal war across the Gaza Strip, killing nearly 50 civilians in two massacres in the center and south of the blockaded territory. One of the regime’s strikes killed at least 25 Palestinians when several homes were hit in the center of Gaza City. An Israeli drone also targeted civilians near the al-Shifa Tower west of the city, killing several civilians. In central Gaza, five people were killed and nearly 40 injured after Israeli bombing of an entire residential block in the Nuseirat refugee camp. An earlier strike on the displaced people’s tents in al-Mawasi area in the southern city of Khan Yunis killed at least 20 civilians, including many children. The fatalities came after Israeli warplanes targeted makeshift camps in an area designated as a so-called humanitarian zone by the regime. Israeli forces also targeted the Abu Tammam School in Beit Lahiya, killing and injuring several civilians. The new massacres increased the death toll from the Israeli genocide to over 44,500, leaving more than 105,000 people wounded.

Condemning Israeli crimes

There’s no end in sight to Israel’s atrocities in the West Bank as the regime’s forces and settlers continue violent raids on Palestinian cities and towns across the occupied territory. In one of their latest incursions, Israeli forces killed an elderly man in the town of Aqraba, south of Nablus. He was severely beaten while working on his land and later succumbed to his injuries. In another raid in the town of Silwan near the occupied al-Quds, a 17-year-old teen succumbed to injuries he sustained after shot by Israeli forces’ live fire. Meanwhile, the Prisoners Affairs’ Authority and the Prisoners’ Society confirmed in a joint statement the death of a Palestinian prisoner in Israeli jails. Mohammed Walid Hussein Ali, who came from the Nur Shams camp, had been recently re-arrested by Israeli forces, after having served 20 years in the regime’s prisons. Hamas slammed the killing of the prisoner by Israeli prison officials, saying he had died due to severe torture. The movement said the regime will pay the price for this crime and the crime of genocide, no matter how long it takes.
