Syria fighting terrorists

The Syrian armed forces, backed by artillery and missile units, are engaged in fierce fighting with terrorists in the Northwestern parts of the Arab country. The army has issued a statement, saying the foreign-backed terrorists have now entered the city of Hama. This comes after intense clashes that inflicted heavy losses on the terrorists and their equipment. The army has now redeployed its troops outside the city to avoid urban combat and protect civilians. The joint Syrian-Russian airstrikes are also targeting the southern parts of Idlib province where terrorists' attacks have intensified. Press TV has obtained information indicating that Syrian army’s anti-terror operations have killed at least 2,000 terrorists since last week.

US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

More death and destruction in Gaza as Israel continues with its relentless air and artillery strikes across the besieged strip. Nearly 50 Palestinians have been killed across the strip in a matter of 24 hours. In one of its latest attacks, Israel hit a neighborhood in Gaza City. Gaza city was already reeling from an overnight attack which killed over two dozen Palestinians. The attacks on northern Gaza are also intensifying where there are still thousands of Palestinians who remain, without food, water or medicine while no aid is allowed to those areas. It has been reported that patients in Kamal Adwan Hospital were targeted by Israeli drones, leaving many killed and injured. Since the onset of the Israeli war on Gaza in October last year, nearly 44,600 people have been killed, most of them women and children.

Solidarity with Palestine

The leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement says US and Israel are trying to divert attentions from Palestine by opening new fronts in countries that support the Palestinian people. Houthi called on Muslim nations not to be distracted by the US-Israeli plot. He said when flames of conflict are fanned in countries neighboring Palestine, a direct service is provided to Israel. The Ansarullah leader called Israel the main enemy and condemned some Arab governments for taking no action against the regime’s plots. He also praised the resistance in Iraq for standing with Palestine and vowed further cooperation from Yemen in confronting Israel. The Ansarullah leader also called on Yemenis to attend the weekly mass rallies on Friday in solidarity with Palestine.
