As mediators worked in Qatar to hammer out a ceasefire deal, Israeli forces killed at least 62 Palestinians in their latest attacks across Gaza.

According to reports coming out of Gaza on Wednesday, two reporters are among the victims.

Gaza civil defense agency said in a statement that 11 bodies were brought to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza after the Israeli forces struck a family home in Deir al-Balah during the night. A seven-year-old boy and three teenagers were among the dead.

According to the agency, another strike hit a school building used as shelter for displaced Palestinians in Gaza City. The attack killed seven people and injured several others.

A third strike at dawn hit a house in the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp. It killed six people and injured seven, the agency said.

A fourth strike targeted the Shati camp in Gaza City and killed three people, the agency added.

The Israeli regime confirmed that its forces had carried out several attacks overnight in Gaza. In the past 24 hours, the occupying forces truck more than 50 targets across Gaza, the regime said.

The regime also issued new evacuation calls in Arabic for the northern refugee camp of Jabalia. It warned the refugees to move to southern Gaza City.

Jabalia and its surrounding areas have been the target of intense Israeli attacks since October 2023. Thousands of residents have been displaced.

In addition to a barrage of Israeli strikes in the previous months, the Palestinians who have remained in the area face severe shortages of food, water, medical equipment and shelter.
