British police have detained and released journalist and former professor David Miller, widely regarded as Britain’s foremost scholarly expert on Zionism.

Professor Miller was arrested upon return from Beirut, where he reported on the funeral ceremony of Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and his deputy Hashem Safieddine. They were both assassinated by Israel during its bombing campaign in southern Lebanon in late last year.
